Job Overview
Your Key Responsibilities
As an Insulation Specialist, you will operate various saws, including band saws, to custom fabricate insulation materials such as fiberglass, mineral wool, and perlite. - Safely and efficiently operate the necessary equipment.
- Precisely measure materials to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Ensure daily production targets are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform additional fabrication tasks as directed by your supervisor.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- A valid driver's license is required if operating a company vehicle.
- Experience or training in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred.
- Must be medically certified to wear a respirator if necessary.
- Basic computer skills are preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
This position is considered safety-sensitive.
Travel Requirements
Type of Travel Required: Local
Amount of Travel Required: Less than 10%
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted to load and unload various products. The role requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and standing to perform daily tasks, including ladder climbing as needed.
