Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team at Wm Bolthouse Farms Inc. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily audits of production procedures to verify compliance with established guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform analytical analysis of in-process and finished goods to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to address any quality or safety issues that arise during production.
  • Sample collection, operation of lab equipment, data analysis, and entry, shipment of samples.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Perform pre-operational, in-process, and post-operation food safety and plant sanitation audits.
  • Conduct microbiological and ATP swabbing of plant equipment and facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Place product on hold if deviations from standards occur and complete corrective actions.
  • Enforce plant QA, hygiene, and GMP policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and interact well with others.
  • Knowledge of math and science concepts, as well as good writing skills for record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing or food production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
Physical Demands
  • The work environment will be typical of a manufacturing facility, with portions of the job requiring work in cold (< 40°F) and warm environments, as well as in proximity to chemicals and laboratory equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a wet, cold, or hot environment and lift 25-50 pounds.
