Job Overview

The Barclays Research team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our ABS and CLO research efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality research and analysis on ABS and CLO structures and product types, identifying key risks and relative value. You will work closely with sales, trading, and syndicate teams to provide insights and recommendations to clients. This is a unique opportunity to join a top-ranked II credit franchise and contribute to the development of our research platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ABS and CLO markets, including structures, product types, and key risks.
  • Produce high-quality research and analysis on ABS and CLO markets, including market trends, outlooks, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with sales, trading, and syndicate teams to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Work closely with other research teams across the firm to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the ABS and CLO markets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends to ensure our research is accurate and relevant.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to provide exceptional client service and support.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of ABS and CLO markets, including structures, product types, and key risks.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality research and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with sales, trading, and syndicate teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the financial markets.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends.
