Position Overview:

As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will operate under the guidance of the Manager of Breast Imaging Services, delivering vital Radiologic care aimed at diagnosing breast disorders and conducting bone density assessments (DEXA). Your role will involve assisting physicians as necessary and performing related duties as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality mammography and DEXA services to patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in imaging technology.

Shift Details:

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week during the day shift.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • An Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
  • Current Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within one year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

We value experience, and candidates with at least one year of Mammography experience as an ARRT registered technologist will be preferred.
