Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Expert to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in advising on matters related to direct and indirect procurement, subcontracts, logistics, supplier negotiations, and disputes.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with senior executives to provide counsel on complex supply chain administration and diligence matters. Your ability to analyze complex data and communicate effectively will be essential in driving projects to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to government contracts and federal procurement. Experience working in an in-house legal department with global clients is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising the Global Supply Chain function on matters related to direct and indirect procurement, subcontracts, logistics, supplier negotiations, and disputes.
  • Providing counsel to senior executives on complex supply chain administration and diligence matters.
  • Communicating effectively with internal business partners and stakeholders across client teams.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of commercial agreements, including licensing and information subscription agreements.
  • Consulting on legal and regulatory considerations in supply chain process, practices, and procedure development.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Juris Doctorate and admission to practice law in at least one state.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant functional experience, including matters relating to supply chain compliance considerations.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to government contracts and federal procurement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, assume ownership of issues, and drive projects to completion.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000-$170,000, depending on experience.
