**Job Title:** Port Services Assistant

Barton & Gray Mariners Club is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Port Services Assistant. As a key member of our harbor operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our port facilities, including coordination of onboard provisions and inventory management.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work on a team and independently. If you are a detail-oriented and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

  • Coordinate with captains to ensure timely delivery of provisions and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and order new stock as needed.
  • Collaborate with our purchasing coordinator to negotiate best prices for provisions and supplies.
  • Ensure dock boxes and storage units are consistently stocked.
  • Launder towels and blankets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective communication and coordination with captains and other departments.
  • Organizational skills to manage inventory and provisioning logistics.
  • Able to lift 25+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation for use during work hours, eligible for mileage reimbursement.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
