Saia LTL Freight is seeking experienced Class A Line Haul Drivers to join our team. As a Line Haul Driver, you will operate tractor-trailer combinations for extended periods, traveling between company terminals, yards, facilities, and customer sites. With a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure transportation of goods while adhering to DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Verify loads against shipping papers, noting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Provide professional representation of the company when interacting with public safety officials and the general public.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Current Class A CDL with Doubles/Triples, Hazmat, and Tankers endorsements
  • 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, with some experience in the last 24 months
  • OTR experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of handheld mobile applications
Compensation and Benefits

As a Line Haul Driver with Saia LTL Freight, you can expect a competitive compensation package, including a base pay rate of $0.73 - $0.81 per mile, plus benefits such as 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and vision insurance.
