- Supervise and Direct Team Members: Lead and mentor other nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Communicate Effectively: Clearly and openly communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support Certification and additional certifications as required by department.
- Licensure: Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- Experience: At least 6 months RN experience.
Methodist Dallas Medical Center is a 314-bed, full-service, acute care teaching hospital serving the southwestern Dallas County area. We offer a range of services, including a Level III Trauma Center, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a Dr. Stephen and Marilyn Mansfield Oncology Unit. Our hospital has received recognition for excellence in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, open heart surgery, and STEMI care, as well as stroke care, hip and knee joint replacement, and women and children's services.
