Job Summary:

As a Bookkeeper at H&R Block, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This includes processing accounts payable and receivable, creating journal entries, and managing general ledgers. You will also be responsible for performing data entry and maintaining the company's bookkeeping software.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable
Create journal entries and manage general ledgers
Perform data entry and maintain bookkeeping software
Analyze financial data and identify trends
Provide excellent customer service and support

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of experience in bookkeeping and accounting concepts
6 months of experience with basic office procedures
Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting concepts
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal wage and hour laws
PC data entry and 10-key calculator skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping software and computer systems
