Debt Resolution Specialist

Servpro Team Nichols is seeking a skilled Debt Resolution Specialist to join our team. This position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
• Contact insurance companies and customers to inquire about overdue invoices
• Implement proactive measures to ensure timely payments
• Maintain collection notes in QuickBooks and proprietary software
• Create and maintain collection activity logs and present weekly progress to the Office Manager
• Complete accounts payable activities

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with debt collection activities
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
• Understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Professional phone etiquette
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
• High school diploma, Associate's Degree is an asset
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

We offer a competitive pay rate, which is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
