Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Spanish Teacher to join our team at Alfred G. Waters Middle School. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, creating a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all students, including those with special needs
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure student success
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in language education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • State of Delaware teacher certification in Spanish
  • Proven experience in language education, preferably in a middle school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
