Dover Public Schools is a progressive and culturally diverse school district serving approximately 3,600 students, Pre-K through grade 12.
The Dover Department of Special Services is currently accepting applications for the position of Leave Replacement Speech and Language Pathologist. This leave replacement position is approximately August 27, 2024 until November 27, 2024.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work with students in our elementary school program, providing speech and language services to students with mild to severe language delays.
Responsibilities:- Provide speech and language services to students with mild to severe language delays
- Work with students in our elementary school program
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assess and evaluate student progress
- Appropriate NJDOE Certification (Speech-Language Specialist)
- Prior experience working with a diverse student population
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
