Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Physical Therapy department.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
  • Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
  • Document treatment interventions given.
  • May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Required.
  • Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
