Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Meijer, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting pharmacy initiatives. This is a part-time opportunity that requires a friendly and customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with patients at various service points of contact, promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services.
• Input customer and prescription information into the pharmacy dispensing system, creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory, completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department, stocking prescription medication and maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.

Requirements:

• High School/GED, Registered and/or licensed as required in the state of practice.
• Retail/Community Practice experience, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
• Proficient typing skills, neat and eligible penmanship, organizational skills, prioritizing skills, teamwork, attendance, and basic math skills.
