Job Title: Cloud Engineer for AzureJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer for Azure to join our team at Covenant Consulting. As a Cloud Engineer for Azure, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Azure-Based Infrastructure: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates or Terraform to design and implement Azure-based infrastructure.
  2. Automate Deployment Processes: Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
  3. Monitor System Performance: Monitor system performance and ensure high availability through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  4. Collaborate with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and security.
  5. Maintain System Documentation: Maintain system documentation and develop best practices for DevOps processes.
  6. Participate in On-Call Support Rotations: Participate in on-call support rotations and incident response.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven Experience in Azure: Proven experience in a DevOps (Azure) role involving the creation of successful and efficient DevOps processes for a brand new product.
  • Hands-on Experience with Azure DevOps: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Batch Compute.
  • Strong Understanding of Networking and Security: Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

Compensation

$140,000-$160,000 per year
