Eureka Multifamily Group is actively seeking an experienced Property Supervisor for one of our Affordable Housing developments. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of project-based Section 8 and tax credit programs. Proficiency in One Site Leasing and Rents is essential. Candidates must hold COS and TCS certifications or be prepared to obtain them within six weeks of commencing employment.
As the Property Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations and work towards achieving the financial objectives of the property. This role includes supervising staff, managing leasing processes, ensuring timely collections, enhancing resident satisfaction, overseeing maintenance operations, and ensuring compliance with legal and budgetary standards. You will report directly to the Regional Property Manager and supervise the Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Leasing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Property Management: Maintain accurate property records, conduct regular inspections, and supervise external contractors.
- Financial Management: Develop and implement budgets, manage expenses, and oversee rent collections.
- Personnel Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Administrative Duties: Ensure lease files are complete and submit required reports to upper management.
- Resident Relations: Enhance resident satisfaction through regular communication and property inspections.
- Maintenance Oversight: Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and uphold property standards.
- Marketing & Leasing: Achieve occupancy goals through effective marketing strategies and lease negotiations.
- Safety Compliance: Report incidents and adhere to safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years in affordable housing property management with a focus on financial and operational results.
- Preferred COS certification on a HUD governed property.
- Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and the ability to perform tasks in various environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings.
