Job Summary

Child & Family Service is seeking a highly motivated and culturally sensitive Bilingual Case Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will provide bilingual case management services to promote acculturation and successful employment for immigrant and refugee participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bilingual case management services to promote acculturation and successful employment for immigrant and refugee participants.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the unique needs of participants.
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide employment and vocational services.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify participant needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide education and training to participants on employment and vocational skills.
Requirements
  • High school plus additional training equal to 2 years of college, which requires knowledge of a specialized field or may lead to licensing (data processing, accounting, human services), or formalized apprenticeship program.
  • Over one year, up to and including two years of experience in a related field.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of immigrant issues, including but not limited to, immigration law, social barriers, employment issues, and acculturation.
  • Speaks languages that are most common with participants being served, including Ukrainian/Russian or Spanish.
  • Knowledge in the area of employment and vocational services.
  • Cross-cultural skills working with limited, non-English speakers.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid driver's license, current no-fault insurance coverage, and access to an insured vehicle.
