Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary: Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the healthcare team.
