Construction Oversight Specialist

The Development and Project Manager role at The Village Collection, Dallas Locations, involves overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, quality, and budget adherence. This individual will be responsible for leading or assisting in managing renovation and ground up projects from concept to completion, coordinating with third-party tenant contractors, and developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate with third-party tenant contractors, ensuring seamless build-outs and long-term company interests are protected
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including the President, Property Management / Operations, and Leasing teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, architecture, civil engineering, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of direct industry oversight experience in a leadership role with a general contractor or commercial real estate developer
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and analyze construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with the construction procurement process, including RFPs, bids, awards, RFIs, change orders, and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of local utility processes for new and/or renovation projects
