Key Responsibilities- Provide lead work and mentoring/training for other Facilities Maintenance Technicians
- Perform a variety of skilled and highly skilled tasks related to the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Assist in administrative duties, including contract management and coordination with outside contractors
- Coordinate and oversee the work of outside contractors
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Two (2) years of full-time experience comparable to that of a Facilities Maintenance Technician II
- OR Five (5) years of increasing full-time experience related to the maintenance and repair of buildings and related systems and equipment, of which, two (2) of those years must be at a lead or supervisory capacity
- Equivalent to completion of high school
- Vocational or technical school courses related to construction, building systems maintenance, or equipment repair
- Possession of a current valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company
- Building Operator Certification
- Current LEED Green Associate or LEED AP Certification
- HVAC systems/technician
- Building Access Control systems
The successful candidate will be required to work in a standard office environment, sitting at a desk for long periods of time, and will be expected to travel from job site to job site operating and sitting in a vehicle. The candidate will also be required to bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist while performing field work, and may be exposed to dust, noise, machinery, moving objects and other vehicles while performing field work.
