ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate must meet all physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations. Below is a non-exhaustive list of the physical requirements for this role:
- Ability to move around frequently to complete tasks or transition between locations.
- Comfortable working with young children, including activities such as sitting, standing, and running.
- Capability to navigate safely on uneven or irregular surfaces.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging students in social-emotional learning and physical education activities.
- Ensuring compliance with mandatory instructional timeframes.
- Facilitating, demonstrating, and participating in games and activities with students.
- Supervising various activities with groups of students, including games and snack distribution.
- Creating a secure learning environment while applying effective behavior management techniques.
- Communicating effectively with guardians and all staff members.
- Basic proficiency in using and navigating modern technology.
- Serving as a positive and motivating role model.
- Exhibiting outstanding customer service for all students and school personnel.
- Adhering to health protocols as outlined by the educational institution.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in education, coaching, or child development is strongly preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Completion of mandatory training as required by the district.
