Campus USA Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely completion of financial and accounting records for the Credit Union.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial, statistical, and accounting records for the Credit Union, including posting of journal entries, preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Accounting Support: Work independently and assist other accounting staff with their daily work, including assisting with auditors/examiners on year-end and comprehensive audits.
- Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset modules and assist Accounting Clerks/AP with expense classifications.
- Software Development: Develop and maintain knowledge of current (and future) software applications within the accounting department.
- Compliance: Adhere to and follow all governmental regulations and policies.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required OR a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions.
- Experience: 0-2 years of similar or related experience.
- Skills: Account Reconciliation, Accounting Software, Analyze and identify key information from changing processes and applications, Balance Sheet Analysis, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Fixed Assets, GAAP, General Ledger Accounting, Microsoft Office, Month-End and Year-End Close, Revenue Recognition.
