We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as the Chief of our Division of Renal Electrolyte and Hypertension. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our nationally recognized clinical programs, including Kidney Transplantation, Dialysis, Comprehensive Hypertension Center, Glomerular Diseases, Lupus Nephritis, and Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Responsibilities- Lead our Division of Renal Electrolyte and Hypertension, providing strategic direction and vision for our clinical programs.
- Develop and implement plans to enhance our clinical services, research programs, and educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with our research team to advance our basic and translational research, health services research, and health policy initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to our faculty and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the financial sustainability of our Division.
- Represent our Division in various internal and external forums, promoting our mission and values.
- MD or MD/PhD degree.
- ABIM certification in Nephrology.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting.
- Distinguished record of original research and publication.
- Strong clinical and educational skills, with a demonstrated commitment to all missions of the Division.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
