Data Center Resiliency Manager

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Resiliency Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the resilience and availability of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Disaster Recovery Program Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deploy appropriate DR solutions based on IT strategy.
- Data Center Operations: Manage the Disaster Recovery Program, including managing a DR portfolio of over 200 critical business applications and infrastructure.
- DR Plan Maintenance: Maintain DR plans and hundreds of Technical Recovery Guides globally, driving service providers to ensure their plans are created and maintained.
- Simulation and Exercise Management: Manage small and large scope walk-through and simulation-type disaster recovery exercises, leading multi-discipline groups of employees, consultants, and vendors.
- Global Standardization: Drive global standardization across US, UK, and Asia Pac ITSCM teams.
- Data Center Management: Responsible for the management of onsite data center/computer room and offsite co-location installations.
- OEM Maintenance: Responsible for OEM or third-party maintenance agreements for HW break/fix, including escalations and annual negotiations for renewals.
- Troubleshooting and Communication: Ability to troubleshoot, communicate, and act as the lead on data center issues.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with local facilities personnel and offsite co-location vendors, covering all support system activities associated with the onsite data centers/computer rooms.
- Documentation and Procedures: Responsible for documenting procedures and escalations for smart hands utilized in co-located data centers.
- Business Partnership: Partner with business groups on their data center-related requirements and projected growth to assure space is available for future needs in the DC's.
- Relationship Management: Manage and maintain effective relationships with vendors, equipment manufacturers, partners, and associates.
- Service Management: Oversee the data center operations incident, change, request ticket queues, ensuring Service Now tickets are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Standards and Compliance: Maintain the onsite data center/computer room and offsite co-location installations standards.
- Service Provider Oversight: Oversee service providers to maintain accountability and quality of contracted deliverables in both DR and BC.
- DR Design Projects: Provide oversight of DR design projects.
- Communication and Escalation: Provide formal and regular communications and escalation to management and executive briefings as needed.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify issues, devise solutions, and present to governance teams for resolution.
- Contract Review: Review contracts for externally hosted applications for DR risk management.
- Operational Policies: Develop and maintain operational policies and SOPs for related programs.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare and provide responses to audits.
- Contractual Compliance: Counsel business units on contracts, statements of work, and BC/DR plans for outsourced services and systems to ensure cohesiveness and contractual compliance.
- Technical Consulting: Provide technical consulting for complex disaster recovery solutions.
- Corporate Directive Compliance: Responsible to ensure IT Core services correctly interprets and complies with the Corporate Directive on Business Continuity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years overall IT experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- 6+ years of IT infrastructure management.
- Experience of data center operations management or disaster recovery program management.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem management skills.
- Understanding of data center design, network topologies, and server deployment.
- Experience working with service providers to delivery IT services.
