About the Opportunity


Auria is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. As a key member of our Command and Control Systems group, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.



Job Summary

This position involves working on a range of software development tasks, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and integration. You will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that our software meets the required specifications and standards.



Salary Range:

The salary offered for this position will be based on your qualifications, skills, education, and experience. Our salary range is between $81,000 and $140,000 per year.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and integrate software components and systems
  • Analyze and resolve complex software problems and issues
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure software meets requirements and standards
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Maintain and improve existing software codebases


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Active SECRET clearance required (ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance)
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Java programming
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system and software development tools (e.g., Maven, Git, Eclipse)
  • Ability to travel locally up to 10% for business needs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance highly desired
  • Possessing a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) highly desired
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Experience developing enterprise applications or Command and Control system application development highly desired
