About the Role

As a Software Engineer III at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Work with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support software development and deployment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns and architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins and Docker.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
