About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using a variety of programming languages and technologies, including Java, Python, and C++.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software code, ensuring that it is efficient, scalable, and secure.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that code meets our high standards.
  • Work with our DevOps team to ensure that our software solutions are properly deployed and maintained.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and apply that knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and C++.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with testing and quality assurance methodologies, such as TDD and BDD.
