Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Atherton Endoscopy Center. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective patient care in the perioperative services, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-anesthesia care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical care.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state with an unrestricted license.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Pre-OP/PACU, with previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
