Job Description

PPM Consultants, Inc. is an Environmental Consulting Firm with multiple offices across the Southeastern United States. Our team is seeking an energetic and career-oriented Environmental Consultant (0 to 3 years of experience) to support our environmental projects.

The Environmental Consultant will be responsible for completing field and office efforts, including collecting environmental samples, installing remediation systems, and overseeing subcontractors.

  • Collecting environmental samples (air/water/soil/sediment) and installing soil borings/monitoring wells
  • Installing various types of remediation systems
  • Oversight of subcontractors
  • Assisting with data evaluation and report preparation

Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • The ability to safely work independently and in teams while consistently following specific instructions and guidelines
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional attention to detail at all times
  • A clear driving record
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Travel is required to specific project sites.

This position requires a BS or BA degree in Geology from an accredited university. Salary is dependent upon experience. This is an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth with an established and growing consulting firm.
