About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in selecting the right products and services, providing expert advice and recommendations
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of cash handling and inventory control
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, wholesale and retail partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, targets, and performance metrics
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, features, and benefits, providing expert advice to customers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, adhering to company standards
  • Participate in visual merchandising, inventory management, and other store-related activities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and customer expectations
  • Basic math skills, with ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the store
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
