Job Summary

As a Cashier at Wegmans Food Markets, you will provide exceptional customer service by engaging customers in friendly conversation, accurately completing monetary transactions, and efficiently getting customers through the checkout process. You will also be responsible for properly bagging items and offering additional assistance or services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage customers in friendly conversation and provide excellent customer service
  • Accurately and efficiently scan customers' grocery items and complete monetary transactions
  • Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store
  • Proactively offer additional assistance or services to customers
