Job Summary

Maintain exceptional guest services in accordance with company standards. Expedite guest transactions and ensure guest satisfaction at the service desk. Control all cash and media materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and acknowledge every guest; maintain solid product knowledge; and provide outstanding guest service.
  • Authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts.
  • Assure the completion of all PoS transactions and the proper control of cash and media at PoS registers.
  • Help train cashiers and crosstrain other associates.
  • Prepare daily deposits, change, and media; some locations have access to safe combinations and keys.
  • Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures, and practices; support loss-prevention efforts.
  • Oversee the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of cashiers; communicate performance issues to management.
  • Maintain front-end supplies.
  • Provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
  • Cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur.
