Job Overview

Position Summary: Full-Time Role

The primary responsibility is to guarantee that all gaming devices are functioning optimally for the best player experience.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Review the duty schedule and stay updated with all communications from the Slot Performance Coordinator at the start of each shift.
  • Report any departmental challenges or concerns to the Slot Performance Coordinator.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of all gaming machines, including tournament and promotional games, as well as departmental rules and regulations. Ensure all gaming machines are well-maintained.
  • Diagnose issues and repair machines as necessary.
  • Contact vendors for service when internal repair efforts have been exhausted or when replacement parts are required.
  • Help maintain precise and up-to-date records of gaming machines.
  • Notify the Slot Performance Coordinator of any recurring machine problems or guest complaints.
  • Regularly check parts inventory and collaborate with vendors to ensure a sufficient supply of components.
  • Assist with the installation, conversion, and removal of gaming machines.
  • Stay informed about casino events and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is necessary.
  • Training or experience in electrical wiring is essential.
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting and repairing IGT Advantage hardware, as well as Class 2 and Class 3 gaming machines, is required.

Licensing Requirements:

Must be able to obtain and sustain the necessary Gaming License.

Work Environment:

This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. The role involves extended periods of walking, bending, or stooping, and the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Work is conducted in a casino setting with fluctuating levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and temperature.
