Our medical surgical team at St. David's Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool MedSurg department. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide compassionate patient-centered care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient outcomes.

About the Role
\
As an Advanced Medical Surgical Nurse with St. David's Medical Center, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized plans of care, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote optimal patient recovery and well-being. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment options, medication management, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their health journey.

Key Responsibilities
\
* Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments to identify changing needs and priorities
\
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
\
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
\
* Administer medications and treatments according to hospital policy and protocols
\
* Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff as appropriate
\
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and progress
\
Requirements
\
To qualify for this position, you should have:
\
* 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
\
* Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
\
* Active RN licensure in the state of employment
\
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications may be preferred
\
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
