Nurse Unit Manager Position

About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill the position of Unit Manager at our facility. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided, and mentoring less experienced nurses.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
- Mentor and educate nursing staff on clinical and professional development
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care
- Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management
Requirements
- Valid State RN License
- 3 years of Long Term Care Experience preferred
- 2 years of Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
