Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of products to ensure adherence to order specifications and the organization's quality assurance protocols, as well as compliance with regulatory standards.
Effectively communicate inspection outcomes and updates to management and engineering teams as necessary.
Propose innovative ideas to enhance inspection efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
Review company records to gather pertinent information such as product dimensions and quality test results.
Perform comprehensive visual inspections.
Apply approval or rejection stamps on products and prepare detailed reports of findings.

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each critical function and assigned task effectively. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
Experience in the industry is advantageous.
Ability to interpret specifications is essential.
Familiarity with mechanical and configuration hardware such as fasteners, brackets, wire forms, seals, and connectors is required.
Mechanical inspection skills, including proficiency with calipers and micrometers, are necessary.
Basic computer proficiency, including the use of spreadsheets, word processing, internet research, and email, is required.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision is essential.
A strong sense of urgency is required.
Capability to meet frequent short-term goals and deadlines is necessary.
