Release Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at Epic Games. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the build and release process for Fortnite, ensuring a seamless experience for our players and creators.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement new practices and structures to improve release management and stabilization processes across our Fortnite ecosystem.
- Own the scheduling, coordination, quality control, and external certification process across multiple platforms and/or products.
- Work closely with QA, Build Engineers, and Lead Programmers to monitor the automated build and integration process, ensuring correct build execution and facilitating the resolution of build failures.
- Collaborate with publishing and dev teams to determine release content plans, shepherd content through external party approvals, and ensure timely releases.
- Coordinate internal and external release notes, known issues, and knowledge base updates.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in right-sized process development and improvement.
- Experience with build and release processes for Software or Games as a Service product.
- Familiarity with Perforce, Jira, Grafana.
- Experience working with database technology.
- Exposure to platform certification processes.
- Technical orientation and a strong understanding of software development.
- Knowledge of the game development process and exposure to working with shipped and live titles.
