Patient Care Technician

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with dialysis treatments, including setup and operation of hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor
- Participate in infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
- Successful completion of the organization's dialysis training program and CPR certification required
