About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their dialysis treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or supervisor.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dialysis equipment and the treatment area.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
