We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at MASC Medical in Palmetto, FL. This is a full-time position that requires clinical primary care experience and the ability to work 5 days a week in our Clearwater office.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in treating and managing geriatric patient populations with multiple comorbidities. They should be comfortable working in an outpatient setting with office hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seeing 15-20 patients per day
  • Demonstrating expertise in treating and managing geriatric populations with multiple comorbidities
  • Providing virtual medical treatment and management of high-risk populations
  • Creating comprehensive and coordinated plans of care that take into account information from medical records, patients, and their families as well as primary care physicians and specialists
  • Communicating plans of care with patients or their families/caregivers and primary care physicians during the longitudinal continuum of care and any changes in the patient's health condition

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy with a degree from an accredited college (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine preferred)
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified, HIGHLY preferred
  • Florida Medical License
  • DEA License
  • CPR certification (BLS, ACLS, and PALS) up to date
  • Experience in Geriatrics patient load and Medicare Advantage a PLUS
