Avera is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for expeditious and accurate performance of routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions.

**About the Role:**

  • Responsible for expeditious and accurate performance of routine clinical laboratory tests and basic clinical laboratory functions.
  • Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology is required.
  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
  • DOT Urine Drug Screen Collection is preferred.
  • ASCP/NCA within twelve months of employment.

**Work Schedule:**

  • Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30 pm.
  • Weekend Rotation - once a month.
  • Holiday Rotation - every 6th.

**Pay:**

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$22.00 - $31.75 per hour
