Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  • Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
  • Float to all units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • ACLS & PALS certificate (to be obtained within six months of employment).
  • At least two years of critical care experience in the ED, ICU, or PACU.
