About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sophisticated user interfaces that uphold our commitment to customer trust and privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-end development efforts to ensure our web applications are visually stunning, highly functional, and aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to create seamless, responsive, and accessible digital experiences.
  • Leverage your expertise in front-end technologies and best practices to drive the development of scalable and high-performance applications.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

About the Team:

Our organization focuses on managing and delivering world-class products, driving policy compliance, creating partnerships, and developing pipelines and self-service tools. We are responsible for Global Privacy Technology Product implementation(s) to earn customers and associate trust.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, user-centric web applications using React, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Ensure that applications are responsive, accessible, and aligned with best practices in front-end development.
  • Architect and implement micro-frontend solutions to ensure modularity, scalability, and maintainability of the user interface.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various frontend components seamlessly.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and knowledge of testing strategies and tools for ensuring code quality and reliability in front-end development.
  • Hands-on experience with micro-frontend architecture, including creating modular and independent frontend components.
