The Senior Information Assurance and Security Consultant plays a critical role in safeguarding organizational data and ensuring the integrity of network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose network issues and propose enhancements to optimize system performance.
  • Monitor and analyze data traffic patterns within the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on the latest security threats, including malware and advise on preventive measures.
  • Enhance network reliability through proactive security measures.
  • Extensive experience in formulating strategic systems architecture plans.
  • Manage storage infrastructure, including technologies such as virtualization, FC/FCOE, NFS, and ISCSI.
  • Design and administer VMware Infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with SAN for motion and multi-site administration.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
  • Oversee Active Directory service management and ensure operational stability.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing and refining information security policies and requirements (16 years required).
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments of computer systems and applications (16 years required).
  • Identify, report, and rectify security violations (16 years required).
  • Experience in managing complex enterprise-level projects.
  • Expertise in Windows server operating systems.
  • Knowledge of on-premise and cloud security solutions, as well as IP networks and security.
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience with NetApp SAN.
  • Hands-on experience managing storage on VMware ESXi.
  • Strong understanding of server and endpoint operating systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 2016 Active Directory.
  • In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery and avoidance planning.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Thorough understanding of SAN replication and disaster recovery processes.
  • Familiarity with VMware Site Recovery Manager.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in IT infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree in IT or a related field (preferred).
  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH (required).
