Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Medical Equipment Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for executing engineering activities to support Plant Nuclear Operations, including determining technical procurement requirements and implementing engineering processes and programs that comply with engineering design and technical specification requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute engineering activities to support Plant Nuclear Operations, including determining technical procurement requirements and implementing engineering processes and programs that comply with engineering design and technical specification requirements.
- Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned.
- Analyze equipment utilized in nuclear plants and establish commercial grade dedication that complies with design, technical specification, and code requirements.
- Perform evaluations that are completed in accordance with Nuclear Power Plant Engineering procedures, technical specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support for Nuclear Oversight and Regulatory Audits.
- Reconcile equipment documentation to the ASME Code.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Excellent PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
- Excellent communicator, written and oral, with strengths in organization, planning, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of the Passport PE module.
- Working knowledge of the Engineering Change, Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules (Purchasing, Contracts, Engineering Change, and Action Tracking) and eSourcing tool.
- Strong project management skills.
