Job Summary

Bankers' Bank is a leading financial institution seeking a skilled Mortgage Processor/Closer to join our team in Madison, WI. As a key member of our professional team, you will be responsible for preparing loan estimates, reviewing credit package documentation, and preparing mortgage closing documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare loan estimates using processing instructions provided by originating banks.
  • Process re-disclosures within Truth in Lending Act (TILA)/Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (TRID) guidelines.
  • Process applications in accordance with applicable regulations and investor guidelines, reviewing loan application documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Obtain documentation according to initial underwriting findings, including verifications of employment, deposit, mortgage, loan, and rent as applicable.
  • Effectively communicate with partner banks throughout the origination and closing process.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
  • At least one year of residential mortgage loan origination experience.
