Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in MEP consulting engineering and experience in designing energy-efficient buildings. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a technical background.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and be involved in the design of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems for buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responses.
  • Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed.
  • Provide guidance to staff engineers on energy-efficient designs.
  • Review contractor submittals and evaluate conformance with contract documents.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to perform assigned tasks.
  • Confer with other engineers and personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Research, design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements and apply knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems and needs.
