Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of general ledger accounts and ensure data accuracy.
- Support daily reconciliations, manage transactions, and oversee accounts payable functions.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of journal entries, month-end closing processes, and cash flow assessments.
- Manage vendor invoicing and process expense reimbursements.
- Aid in the creation of budget-related documentation and supporting materials for funder submissions.
- Monitor revenue streams for each funding source through accrual adjustments, check postings, and electronic transfers.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nonprofit accounting.
- Proficient in technology - Strong skills in Excel and accounting software are advantageous.
- Familiarity with nonprofit and government grants and contracts is a plus.
- A desire to join and grow within a dedicated, mission-focused team.
