Job Title: Senior RF Engineer, Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer, Principal to join our team at Chenega Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing new capabilities used by tracking radars.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new RF systems and subsystems for tracking radars
  • Perform complex system modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide the most appropriate technical solution
  • Plan, conduct, and assist the project manager in the execution of engineering projects
  • Coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel for assigned projects
  • Analyze, develop, recommend, and implement approaches to meet customer requirements
  • Serve as an interface for project information to internal management and the customers
  • Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Provide expertise to restore operational systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another STEM-related field
  • 5+ years of relevant radar engineering experience, including experience working with RF, monopulse radar tracking systems, and high-power tube and solid-state RF amplifiers
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
