Position Summary
The Logistics Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of all operations.

- Assist in unloading trucks and verifying incoming merchandise.
- Interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify items to be moved, gathered, or shipped.
- Transport materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated locations.
- Organize and categorize materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Maintain a safe and accessible warehouse environment for staff and customer traffic.
- Compile customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipment.
- Label materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
- Open packages and containers as needed.
- Document quantities of materials or items received or distributed.
- Assist in conducting physical inventory counts.
- Weigh and count items for distribution.
- May perform maintenance duties as required.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
- Utilize proper safety equipment at all times.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and coordinate freight pickups.
- Manage expedited shipping schedules.
- Ensure necessary supplies for shipping are adequately stocked.
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks within the warehouse.

Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure. The role frequently uses standard office equipment and warehouse tools.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively. The employee often stands, walks, and may stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects over 100 pounds.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED is required, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
